Hangxiety

Why I made it

The morning after,
solved.

I'm Kahlil — a marketing major at Fort Lewis College and the founder of Hangxiety.

I love a good night out. I love hosting, I love my friends, and I don't think any of that should come with a knot in your stomach — during the walk home, or the morning after.

Everyone I know already improvises this app. Pins in the group chat. “Text me when you're home.” Watching each other's drinks. Hangxiety just takes the thing we already do for each other and makes it faster, calmer, and built in.

The numbers

Students already knew. I counted.

87%

of students I surveyed had experienced or witnessed unsafe behavior in nightlife settings.

80%

had left a venue because it felt unsafe.

The plan

Fort Lewis first. Your campus next.

This year

Hangxiety launches at Fort Lewis College — built with the students it's for, tested on the walks it's for.

Then

Campus by campus — wherever crews are already improvising this app in their group chats.

Always

Privacy as a feature: groups expire, no history, your people only. That never changes.

Want it on your campus?

Get on the list — Fort Lewis students hear about it first, and every other campus tells us where to go next.

Free. No spam — just the launch email and the occasional update.
